About Electrisource
A Connecticut electrical contractor built around a simple idea: take on demanding work, plan it carefully, and execute it with experienced people who care how it turns out.
The company
Hands-on by design
Electrisource Corp was founded in Berlin, Connecticut in 2012 by Kris Butler, who remains president and active in day-to-day operations. Since then, the company has focused on the kind of electrical work that rewards preparation: industrial installations in operating plants, commercial construction on real schedules, and public-sector projects with real documentation requirements.
We are deliberately not a huge national contractor. Electrisource is a hands-on company — a dedicated team of skilled professionals supported by a fleet of fully equipped service vans — where leadership is directly involved in estimating, planning, and field execution. That structure keeps communication short, decisions fast, and accountability clear.
Behind the field crews is our 6,000-square-foot shop in Berlin, where we design and assemble custom control panels featuring variable frequency drives (VFDs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) before they ever reach your site.
Much of our work happens in active, occupied facilities. We are comfortable coordinating around outages, shutdowns, production schedules, and security requirements — and comfortable working from drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and engineered designs.
Based in Connecticut and available for select projects throughout the Northeast and across the United States. When a project is a good fit, our crews mobilize and travel.

What we stand behind
Four commitments on every project
Quality workmanship
Installations that are neat, correct, and built to be maintained — because someone has to live with this work for decades.
Communication
You'll know where your project stands. Questions get answered, changes get documented, and surprises get raised early.
Planning
Detailed planning before mobilization: scope, materials, sequencing, outages, and site logistics worked out in advance.
Safety
Job hazard planning, pre-task reviews, proper PPE, and respect for the operations happening around our work.
